# Obelism media > Obelism media is the digital asset management (DAM) library every Obelism product shares: images, videos and documents per Space (one site or brand), in nested folders, with texts per language, a focal point, tags and Shopify products tagged on the image. Originals live on files.obelism.studio, protected by default; Obelism Content serves them resized on its own pages and delivery API. **When to use Obelism media** Reach for media when a user wants to: - Keep a shop's or site's images, videos and documents in one library, sorted in folders, with alt text per language and a focal point that every crop respects. - Sort uploads automatically by file name (upload rules), import or export many files' details as CSV, or share files with someone outside the Organization behind a password and a time window. - Tag Shopify products on an image (with AI suggestions) and push files to the Shopify admin, or use the same files in Obelism Content's pages. **How an agent should use it** 1. Connect the MCP server (https://media.obelism.studio/mcp, OAuth) or call the agent API with a bearer token; start with the organizations and spaces it lists. 2. Upload, move and describe files in a Space; editors may change files, any member of the Space may read them. 3. Errors are JSON problem details with a `code` and a `hint`; see the errors page. ## Docs - [Agents and MCP](https://media.obelism.studio/docs/agents): Connect Claude, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client to Obelism media, and let it browse, describe, tag, sort and share the files in your image library. - [Agent API](https://media.obelism.studio/docs/api/agent): Read and organize a Space's files over HTTP with a bearer token.
