Getting started

Sign in, open a Space's image library, upload your first files, sort them into folders and set their alt text and focal point in Obelism media.

1. Sign in and pick a Space

Open media.obelism.studio/dashboard. Signing in happens on www.obelism.studio with your Obelism account, the same one Improve, Content and numbers use; you come back to the library afterwards.

The sidebar shows your Organization and Space. Switch the Organization with Switch (on www), and pick the Space below it. The library shows that Space's files, shared by all its environments.

2. Upload

Choose Upload, or drop files anywhere on the library, or on a folder's card. They land in the folder you have open, or that card's. When one of the Space's upload rules matches a file's name, media first shows where each file will go, and uploads once you confirm. Large files work too: they go up in parts.

3. Sort into folders

New folder makes a folder inside the one you have open. Select files (the check on a tile, Shift-click for a range, or Select all) and choose Move to… to move them. Moving a file changes none of its URLs. See folders.

4. Open a file's details

Click a file to open its details:

  • a title and alt text for each language of the Space,
  • tags, comma separated,
  • the focal point: click the part of the image that crops should keep.

Choose Save. Content's pages using the file show the change. See a file's details.
